Proverbs 14:7 “Stay away from a fool, for you will not find knowledge on their lips.”

PRAYER

Lord, please give us wisdom and discernment to recognize people and influences that may lead us away from You. Give us the strength to set healthy boundaries without hatred or judgment. Surround us with wise and godly people who will encourage us to grow in faith and character. Teach us, Lord, how to help others who are making foolish decisions or choices. Protect our hearts from becoming judgmental toward others. May we always choose Your wisdom over the influence of others.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What does “stay away from a fool” mean to you personally?
  2. How can you distinguish between someone who simply makes mistakes and someone who consistently rejects wisdom and correction?
  3. What boundaries might you need to establish with people whose influence is harmful to your faith or character?
  4. How can you become a person who brings wisdom rather than foolishness into the lives of others?
